Grown in the tropical coastal areas of Ecuador, South America, ECOFRUT’S premium selected plantains are carefully picked and hand-harvested, sliced and delicately golden-crisped in vegetable oil to create a delicious, nutritious tropical chip, rich in potassium, with no cholesterol and no trans fat.
ECOFRUT products do not contain hydrogenated or partially-hydrogenated oils, artificial colours, artificial flavours, preservatives, stabilizers, monosodium glutamate (MSG), gluten or GMO.
ECOFRUT products are bagged under the company’s house brand, Tropical Gourmet®, or under private label, depending on buyers’ preference. They can also be sold in bulk for direct consumption or rebbaging at destination. Current standard flavours include: Lightly Salted, Spicy, Garlic and Sweet Plantains Chips.
